There is a continuous feedback loop between your beliefs, thoughts and actions. Your thoughts influence your actions and therefore creates your experience, whether positive or negative in nature. Repeated actions become habits that affect your day-to-day life. For example if you have a dream in mind but believe it’s too big to pursue or you fear upsetting your family then chances are you will not take the steps to make your dream come true.
You may tell people that you’re too old or it’s too late to try something new, you have too many responsibilities and that other people are depending on you. Therefore you continue on with life, perhaps thinking of your dream from time to time but making sure you tell yourself it’s too crazy to pursue each time the idea comes up. Your destiny then becomes one where you settle, never taking the chance or dedicating the time to really try to realize your full potential. You may be ok with this or you may be left with a feeling of a void or “what if?”
If you are daydreaming about your future, pay attention to what you’re thinking about. It’s wise to notice when the mind is playing tricks on you by imposing false fear or doubt.
If you can dream it, you can do it. ~ Walt Disney
Your beliefs and thoughts typically become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Don’t give in to your doubts and fears. You have the power to change your thoughts and to set your life in a new direction.
