Set Aside Time for Yourself
Now that you’ve cleared your calendar of unnecessary activities and obligations, what will you do with the free time you now have? Notice what feelings are coming up in your body as you ponder this question.
If you tend to say ‘yes’ to social invitations out of habit, ask yourself if you really want to go before answering. Be aware of social invitations you think you should attend, especially if you’re not feeling excited about it.
I heard recently, ‘if it’s not a hell yes, then it’s a no.’ Applying this principle has helped me to discern opportunities that I’m not really passionate about, freeing up more time for me.
